Red Beacon

Description

Red Beacon bears downward-facing, 75 mm flowers with ivory-white perianth segments, lightly shaded sulphur yellow at the base, surrounding an intense reddish-orange corona. The substantial, strongly midribbed outer segments are broad, blunt-tipped, spreading or reflexed, and closely overlapping, while the narrower inner segments are somewhat twisted with wavy, sometimes incurving margins; the large, shallow corona has a wavy mouth.
