Red Rim

Description

Red Rim has rounded flowers with clear white perianth segments and a greenish-yellow corona narrowly banded orange-red at the rim. The broad, spreading outer segments are half-overlapping and prominently pointed at their squarish tips, while the narrower inner segments angle at the shoulder and turn slightly inward. Its disc-shaped, tightly ribbed corona has a finely notched, scalloped rim; the cultivar belongs to the Ian Secrett Series and is also recorded under the synonym ‘Red River’.
