Description

Reg Nicholl has rounded, 74 mm flowers with very broad yellow perianth segments and a bowl-shaped yellow corona narrowly banded red at the rim. The smooth, heavy perianth segments spread flat or slightly concave, overlap by half or more, and have rounded tips with a slight white point; the inner segments turn slightly inward. The corona is lightly ribbed and minutely frilled, with a subtly scalloped rim. It blooms in mid-season and honors a leading daffodil enthusiast who served as president of England's The Daffodil Society.
