Resplendent

Description

Resplendent has 100 mm flowers with rich, clear yellow perianth segments and a vivid orange-red corona. The broadly ovate, blunt segments are smooth, somewhat concave, and half-overlapping, spreading or very slightly reflexed; the inner segments spread more fully and may be creased. Its short, smooth, funnel-shaped corona ends in a straight, tightly frilled mouth, and the flowers appear in mid-season.
