Rijnveld's Early Sensation

Description

Rijnveld's Early Sensation has 90 mm flowers with brilliant greenish-yellow perianth segments and a much deeper-toned, smooth, somewhat funnel-shaped corona, ending in an expanded, wavy mouth with a flanged, deeply notched, crenate rim. The ovate, acute perianth segments are inflexed with slightly incurved margins and overlap by a quarter; the inner segments are more strongly inflexed and twisted. It flowers very early and is also sold under the trade designation 'January'.
