Sailorman

Description

Sailorman bears 100 mm, upward-facing flowers with brilliant greenish-yellow perianth segments and a deeply split corona arranged in two whorls of three. Its 40 mm perianth segments are spreading, concave, one-third overlapping and heavy in substance; broad, blunt outer segments have pale pointed tips, while narrower inner segments turn inward and twist. The greenish-yellow corona segments are slightly creased, strongly inflexed and heavily frilled, and the sweetly scented flowers bloom in mid-season.
