Description

Sarah Tomlinson bears 97 mm flowers with yellow petaloid segments arranged in three whorls around a clustered orange centre. The spreading outer segments are broadly ovate and blunt, plane or somewhat twisted and overlapping by half or more, while the inner segments narrow, shorten and curve inward toward the centre. At the centre, much narrower, frilled or wavy innermost perianth segments mingle with similarly textured, irregularly lobed corona segments; bloom season is early.
