Saxby

Description

Saxby bears 91 mm flowers with a corona split to more than half its length. The 35 mm perianth segments are smooth and substantial, overlapping by one-third to one-half; the outer segments are oblong to broadly ovate, while the ovate inner segments spread more fully. Its six 23 mm corona segments form a single whorl as wide as the perianth segments, with overlapping, bi-lobed, lightly ribbed and wavy lobes that spread outward. The flowers are sunproof.
