Serena Beach

Description

Serena Beach bears 120 mm pure-white flowers, with petaloid segments arranged in three regularly superimposed whorls around a central cluster of very short, crumpled, deep lemon-yellow corona segments. The very broadly ovate, blunt segments overlap by half or more and are slightly inflexed, some with a prominent mucro; successive inner whorls become slightly shorter and more strongly inflexed, with incurling margins and one or more very short segments at the center. It blooms in mid-season.
