Sir Slick

1 Y-RTrumpet

Description

Sir Slick forms a 112 mm-wide double triangle, with 50 mm perianth segments that are blunt, spreading, concave and smooth, of heavy substance, and overlapping by half or more with incurved margins. The inner segments are shouldered at the base, while the 55 mm cylindrical, ribbed corona has a flared, wavy mouth and a toothed rim. It blooms in mid-season and was named for a New Zealand racehorse that won more than $3 million.
