Sir Watkin

Description

Sir Watkin has 112 mm-wide flowers with light greenish-yellow perianth segments and a vivid yellow, slightly orange-tinged corona. The broadly egg-shaped segments spread or curve slightly inward, while the funnel-shaped, variably ribbed corona often has a deeply six-lobed, overlapping and frilled mouth. Recorded synonyms include ‘Giant Daffodil’, ‘Mountain Daffodil’, ‘The Welsh Peerless’ and ‘Watkin’.
