Southern Gem

Description

Southern Gem has an approximately 80 mm-wide, milk-white flower in a double-triangle form, held slightly downward. Its outer segments are oblong, thin and wavy-edged, with prominent pointed tips and occasional recurving from the midrib; the more nearly ovate inner segments curve inward more strongly and have more pronounced wavy margins. The ribbed, cup-shaped corona has a frilled, slightly flanged and irregularly notched rim, opening rich primrose yellow before gradually changing to yellow-white.
