Description
Sugarbush opens yellow, then develops ivory-white perianth segments around a brilliant to light greenish-yellow corona with a creamy-white rim. The broadly ovate outer segments overlap by half and have prominent tips and incurled margins, while the rounder inner segments curve deeply inward; the bowl-shaped, broadly ribbed corona has a wavy, shallowly lobed mouth with a finely notched rim. Its 65 mm flowers are borne one or two per stem in mid-season.
