Telamonius Plenus

4 Y-YDouble

Description

Telamonius Plenus bears 100 mm flowers whose doubling varies from partial to complete, combining light greenish-yellow petaloid segments with a vivid yellow corona. Its ovate, separated outer segments may twist, wave, curve inward or recurve, while the funnel-shaped corona has a rolled rim and alternating whorls of petaloid and corona segments; flowers may be green-tinged or occasionally almost entirely green. This early-blooming cultivar reportedly dates to 1620 and was historically described as the doubled form of a single yellow trumpet.
