Description
The Expert bears 106 mm flowers with white perianth segments touched yellow at the base and a white corona. The 48 mm-long, ovate perianth segments are blunt with small pointed tips, smooth, concave and spreading, with heavy substance and one-third overlap; the narrower inner segments are somewhat inflexed. The 48 mm corona is cylindrical and angled, with a straight, wavy, narrowly ribbed mouth and a broadly flanged, irregularly notched rim. It blooms early and was named in memory of Mr Cees Breed, described as a leading expert in the bulb industry.
