Therapia

Description

Therapia has a broad, almost disc-shaped corona, bright yellow with a very broad orange band at its ribbed, frilled rim. Its spreading, overlapping perianth segments are very broadly ovate with rounded, subtly pointed tips; they lie flat and may be lightly creased. The inner segments are somewhat truncate and slightly inflexed, with gently wavy margins that are sometimes thumbed at or below the midpoint. It blooms in mid-season.
