Tom Pouce

Description

Tom Pouce forms a double-triangle flower with brilliant greenish-yellow perianth segments, white bases, pale tips, and an orange-pink corona. The heavy-textured, spreading segments are creased with visible midribs and overlap by half; the outer segments are broadly ovate and blunt, while the inner ones are narrower with only slight points. Its angled, funnel-shaped corona has a straight, wavy, six-lobed mouth with overlapping lobes and a rolled or flanged, finely crenate rim; the name refers to a pink Dutch pastry resembling a Napoleon.
