Help this daffodil feel seen
Description
Toru produces up to 19 sweetly scented, 50 mm-wide flowers per stem, arranged in a double triangle. The ovate, pointed, plane perianth segments are smooth and of heavy substance, surrounding a smooth, bowl-shaped corona with an even mouth and an upright, uncut rim; its soft yellow cups mature to whitish. Described as tall, it blooms very early. In Max Hamilton's Maori Number Series, Toru is the Maori word for “three”; Hamilton assigned Maori-language names according to blooming order.
