Vendell

Description

Vendell has 115 mm flowers with very broad, creamy-white perianth segments surrounding a 15 mm, bowl-shaped deep-yellow corona with green at its base. The smooth segments overlap by half or more and are slightly reflexed, with rounded, faintly pointed tips and either flat or incurved margins. The narrower inner segments are shouldered at the base, while the lightly ribbed corona has a loosely frilled mouth and a split, overlapping rim. A mid-season bloomer, it is a sibling of ‘Viva Diva’ and ‘Laurelbank’ and was named after its seed parent, Rivendell.
