Verdin

7 Y-WJonquilla

Description

Verdin produces one to three 25 mm flowers per stem, with soft lemon-yellow perianth segments touched with white at the base and along the midrib to the tip. The broadly ovate segments spread and overlap by one quarter, with plane or incurving margins, sometimes squarish tips, and wavy margins on the inner segments. Its short, funnel-shaped, loosely ribbed corona opens yellow before becoming white, and has a straight, frilled mouth; flowering is in mid-season.
