Whipcord

Description

Whipcord bears 60 mm flowers with rich butter-yellow, broadly ovate, spreading segments whose margins curve inward; the inner segments are slightly inflexed and wavy-edged. Each stem carries 1–2 flowers with a short, widely expanded, funnel-shaped corona that grades from deep orange at the margin to pale orange at the base; bloom season is very early, and the flowers are sunproof.
