Zabeel

Description

Zabeel has 120 mm flowers forming a double triangle. The 43 mm, ovate perianth segments have rounded tips and are spreading and smooth, with heavy substance and half-overlapping edges; they may be plane or have incurled margins. The smooth, funnel-shaped corona is 22 mm long, with a flared, even mouth and dentate rim. It blooms early and was named after Zabeel, the New Zealand stallion and son of Sir Tristram.
