Zachary's Zest

Description

Zachary's Zest has rounded, 105 mm flowers with vivid yellow perianth segments and a vivid orange corona. The 43 mm segments are very broadly ovate and blunt, spreading flat with slightly incurved margins; they are creased, substantial, and overlap by at least half, while the narrower inner segments have shouldered bases. Its 43 mm cylindrical, angled corona has a slightly expanded, wavy mouth with shallow, irregular, sometimes overlapping lobes and a crenate rim; flowering is in mid-season.
