Zinzi

11A W-YYOSplit-corona Collar

Description

Zinzi has a rounded, 110 mm flower with white perianth segments and a yellow corona, broadly banded orange at the rim, that is split almost to the base into six segments closely overlying the perianth. The 42 mm perianth segments are smooth, heavy in substance, and overlap by at least half; the outer segments are very broad, roundish, spreading, shallowly concave, prominently mucronate, and blunt to somewhat truncate, with slightly wavy margins, while the inner segments are slightly narrower and scarcely mucronate. The 21 mm corona is smooth, lobed and lightly frilled, with an entire rim, and the flower blooms in mid-season.
