Bonython

Description

Bonython forms a double-triangle flower with sulphur-white perianth segments and a soft sulphur-yellow corona. The broadly ovate, spreading outer segments have wavy margins and overlap by one-third, while the narrower inner segments are slightly inflexed and more strongly waved; the smooth corona is cylindrical at the base, flares from about its midpoint, and ends in a flanged, deeply notched and crenate rim.
