
Description
Canyon Wren has 50 mm flowers with yellow perianth segments, white tips and a ribbed, bowl-shaped corona in light orange. The broad segments have blunt or truncate tips and are reflexed, with margins that may be plane, wavy or recurved. This slightly scented, mid-season cultivar belongs to Grant Mitsch's Bird Series and was named for the Canyon Wren, Catherpes mexicanus.
