Description
Harpsichord has rounded, 75 mm flowers with very broad, light yellow perianth segments whose squarish, truncate tips end in very slight points. The smooth, substantial segments overlap by half or more and are slightly reflexed, while the inner segments fold slightly inward along the midrib. The corona is split to the base into six frilled, deeply bilobed and ribbed segments that closely overlie the perianth, opening yellow before becoming light peach-pink. It blooms late and is recorded as sunproof.
