Description
Limerick bears flowers about 90 mm wide, with a white perianth lightly shaded pale yellow-green and an orange-red corona. The broad, disc-shaped corona is closely ribbed, with an obscurely six-lobed mouth and an unevenly crenate rim; the broadly ovate, half-overlapping perianth segments are smooth and midribbed, with blunt or truncate, prominently pointed tips, while the inner segments have somewhat wavy margins and subtler points. It blooms in mid-season, and the flowers are sunproof.
