Red Devon

2 Y-OLarge-cupped

Description

Red Devon has 103 mm flowers with brilliant greenish-yellow perianth segments and a strong orange corona. The overlapping outer segments are very broadly ovate, blunt, spreading and concave, while the narrower inner segments have notched shoulders and wavy margins; the very short, funnel-shaped corona is lightly ribbed with shallow, overlapping wavy lobes, and the flowers are slightly scented. Its name refers to the historic “red” cattle of Devonshire.
