Albatross

Description

Albatross bears clear white flowers up to 127 mm wide, centered by a ribbed, bowl-shaped corona of very pale lemon yellow with a well-defined orange band at the rim. The spreading or slightly inward-curving perianth has wavy or incurved margins; its broadly ovate outer segments have rounded or squarish, prominently pointed tips, while the inner segments are narrower with much subtler points. The corona has a straight, loosely frilled mouth and a notched rim.
